God's gift of sex

Tēnā tatou katoa, Whānau For the next installment of our series on Rock and Hard Place Relationships, we want to give a heads-up, especially for parents. Kingsley will be teaching from the Bible on God’s gift of sex. As this series was planned in Alert Level 1 we had assumed that children would be at Westgate Kidz. As this is now to be a live-streamed online sermon we want to affirm and acknowledge the right and responsibility of parents to help their children come to an understanding of physical intimacy at an age deemed appropriate by parents. Whilst the sermon will not contain graphic detail it will explore biblical values regarding physical intimacy, sexual brokenness and a Christian response to this. Parents, in your very important and God-given role, we advise you of this so that you can choose whether your children watch the service with you or not. Most concepts discussed will be familiar to year 7 -8 children. Though we can not gather together for communal prayer, there will still be times where we can pray together as an authentic family of Jesus. There will be multiple times throughout the week where you can pray with the assurance that others in our family of Christ are praying as well. These times are: Monday - 11am to 12pm Tuesday - 11am to 12pm Wednesday - 11am - 12pm Saturday - 7:30am Sunday - 9:15am - 9:45am Though we can not gather, we can still pray together.
